Shangri-La is interested in “Ecoterra”

The project of the innovative tourist cluster “Ecoterra” is presented at the special session of the Belt & Road Summit in Hong Kong.

As part of the Russian delegation, Russtroyconsulting took part in the 3rd Belt & Road Summit, held in Hong Kong from June 25 to 29, in the framework of the special session of Rural & Urban Development devoted to the development of rural and urban areas, the company presented the project “Ecoterra” to a wide range of experts and investors.

Innovative tourist cluster “Ecoterra”

The only year-round multi-park resort in the world, built on a single concept and a common promotion system, combining ecological, story, event, cognitive and entertaining tourism. The project has the status of a regional investment project and is supported by regional and federal agencies.

The total area of land plots of the cluster is more than 480 hectares. Total building area: 271 380 m2. Total area of buildings: 644,150 m2. The cluster includes 17 hotels with a total capacity of 1,766 rooms, more than 350 attractions, water parks, theme and souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants.

The special summit session also presented a large-scale development project for the territory of Hong Kong, integrated into the overall long-term development plan for the south of China. It is noteworthy that the concept of this project is based on an integrated approach that provides for the development of transport infrastructure linking thematic parks, sports and cultural sites. The operators of this part of the project are consulting holding King & Wood Mallesons and the largest Asian premium hotel chain Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, developing complexes of theme parks throughout the Asian Pacific Region

 During the working meetings, representatives of KWM and Shangri-La got acquainted with the concept and the project of the cluster “Ecoterra” prepared by the holding company “Russtroyconsulting”; the representative of Shangri-La noted that the concept of “Ecoterra” is very close to the company – an agreement was reached to exchange information on the projects of theme parks, negotiations were started on the possible mutual integration of projects in Russia and Asia. KWM Consulting Holding announced its readiness to support Ecoterra both in terms of attracting investments and integrating it into projects of  development of territories together with Asian projects of theme parks.
